Irvine Regional Park - again
Last Wed. Terry d Chacon and I went to paint once again at the Irvine Regional Park, as this is a new location we recently discovered. The weatherman predicted high wind warnings that day, but we decided to brave it anyway and head out on our normal day to paint. When we arrived we meet up with two other plein air painters we had meet there last week who also were not going to let the weatherman keep them from painting. We walked around and found places down in the riverbed that appeared to be more sheltered from the wind. I saw this clump of trees in the distance and was attracted to the little banks with the crevices that had been washed away. The wind did blow from time to time, but I was able to get it done without anything blowing away. All in all a good day, and a great morning of plein air painting.
