On Tuesday we decided to drive to Pasadena, and paint in the Arroyo Seco ravine, where there are beautiful views of the historic bridge there. It was an overcast day, as there is a storm arriving soon. When we got there, even though the bridge was quite interesting, I turned around a painted in the oposit direction, as the distant atmosphere was something that interested me. Anyway, here it is, Arroyo seco morning, 10x10 plein air pastel. In other news, I will be participating in the 9 day paint out with the Plein Air Artists of Riverside, starting, on Sat. the 19th of this month.
