Plein Air Santa Fe - PAPNM

June 7 to the 13th, I had a great time painting with the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico, for their 2nd annual Juried, Paint Santa Fe.  There were 49 artist from all over the US, and  during the week, we painted at various locations surrounding Santa Fe.  On the last day, Friday morning, was the "Quick Draw", which was in Santa Fe along Alameda Ave and the Santa Fe River Park.  That evening was the opening reception for the exhibition at the beautiful InArt Gallery on Delgado Ave, in Santa Fe. Each participating 49 artist submitted 2 finished paintings they had completed during the week long competition.  Here are my paintings from the week.

It was truly a fun week, it is always one of my favorite places to paint, but the addition of painting with 49 other great painter, the event was truly great.  I also enjoyed the company of my two painting and travel  buddies, Terry d Chacon and Nita Harper.  Until next time, thanks for following my blog.
