The painting on the bottom was painted by my good friend, Ada Passaro, it was nice to share the wall with Ada at the show.
On Sat., I attended the PSWC Award Reception, in the beautiful town of Auburn, CA. The members show was beautiful, and it was great to meet other members of the pastel society, some of which I had meet at previous shows. I was honored to receive the first place award for the Associate Members. With this award, I received the designation of Signature Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast (PSWC). I am very excited with this achievement, as this has been one of my goal that I have worked towards.
I was so pleased I could share my moment of fame, with family, and my good friend Lilli Miles. (lf to Rt) Bill & Nancy Saunders, my cousin, and my brother and wife Barbara & Dan Ford.

The trip there and back was fun because my very good gal pal Lilli was along to keep the trip fun and exciting. We had a great weekend at the event and spending time with Dan and Barbara, and the added treat was seeing my cousin Nancy and hubby Bill, who came by to see the show. So, this week, back to panting, and getting ready for the next show, which will be Art for Heaven's Sake, in Redlands, Oct. 15 to 17, 2010.
