Laguna Back Bay, yet again

"Late afternoon on the Back Bay" 5x7 plein air pastel.

"Windy afternoon on the Back Bay" 9x12 plein air pastel.

Last Tuesday afternoon Terry d Chacon and I painted once more at the Laguna Back Bay. There was a storm predicted to arrive late that afternoon, so we painted quickly. It was sunny but a cold wind keep us hanging onto our gear. But it was all worth it, and we decided to do one more, up at the Interpretive Center, where we were a little shielded from the wind.

More Back Bay

Last week my painting buddy Terry d Chacon and I went back to the Laguna Back Bay, to capture the moment once again. So this is my 9x12 plain air pastel, "Back Bay again" Until next time.

Back at the "Back Bay"

"Overcast morning sparkle" 6x12 plein air pastel.

"Back Bay evening light" 9x12 plein air pastel.
