Circle Hawaii cruise paintings

Sun deck aboard the Zaandam on the way to Hawaii. Rear deck view, 6x6 plain air pastel.

"Whitecaps of the pacific" 5x7 plain air pastel.

Clouds over Honolulu, 5x12 plain air pastel.

This Sunday we returned from a 14 day Circle Hawaii cruise, leaving and returning from San Diego Calif. Along with us on this trip were 7 other family members who came along to celebrate my husbands birthday. A few of the days aboard ship were a bit choppy on board and windy, so those times I was not able to paint, but I tried to paint as often as possible. Above are the first three paintings I did. I must say one big thing I learned on this trip was where they choose the name for ultramarine blue... We are now home, trying to adjust to life again after being pampered for 14 days. More paintings next time.
