On Wed., our plein air painting day,my friend Terry d. Chacon decided to drive to Banning to paint the Lavender fields another time. This year the lavender has bloomed a little later, so we knew there would be beautiful lavender fields to paint, and we were not disappointed. At this farm they also have a long row of Oleanders that line one of the roads, and it also is in bloom, and they made a great backdrop for the lavender. It is always nice to stand and paint these fields as the aroma that is constantly surrounding you is so peaceful.
