Painting the Farmers Market

"Peaches someday" 9x12 plein air pastel.

"Oranges for sale" 8x10 plein air pastel.

Yesterday, Terry d Chacon and I started out painting downtown Redlands at the morning Farmers Market. It was fun trying the capture the scene, and putting in the people that did not stay still, so capturing their gesture of their stance was the order of the day. Because oranges are in season, most had oranges and strawberry's for sale. Since it was such a beautiful spring day, we decided to paint in the afternoon also, and to head up to the Peach orchards in Beaumont
