Well, today was absolutly beautiful, after the rain, Pacific Grove was shinning. I did manage to paint 3 paintings around this area, first at Asilomar grounds, and then, I went down the street from our Inn, and this dune was calling to me. There was a high fence at the top, with a distant old weathered bending Monterey Pine. I was not able to photograph my paintings, as I was painting as the sun set over the dunes, what a great afternoon. Tomorrow, I go to Carmel, to paint the beaches there. I will be joined by Terri Ford who is a fabulous pastel artist, no relation but I am honored to have her join me for a painting day. More another day, it is so beautiful, it is hard to stop painting....Tuesday, April 13, 2010
