This month I was honored to be the guest artists and Judge of the 2011 Loma Linda Fine Arts Festival. In addition to judging the show, I conducted a pastel demo at the awards reception on Sunday. I have included a few photos of this day. It was very rewarding to do this demo, and the interesting part, was that they had a camera on my board while I painted, which allowed the audience to view the painting much better as I worked. I choose a scene I had previously painted years ago in watercolors, as I wanted to paint clouds and mountains in the distance.. At the end of the demo, I assisted in handing out the awards.
