Crystal Cove morning

"Crystal Cove morning" 8x10 plein air pastel, done on location at Crystal cove, on Thursday. It was a beautiful morning, and the weather was just right. I had driven to Orange Co., to first go by Randy Higbee's gallery and Art and Frame shop to purchase some frames. So after finishing my business there, my friend Terry and I went down to Crystal cove to paint while my frames were being crafted. I choose this little vista, of one of the furthest away cabins on the beach there in the historic Crystal Cove Beach and State Park. Currently there is quite a bit of construction going on, as they are busy repairing a number of the cabins for future use. It is always a lovely time there at this location. After completing out paintings, we had a wonderful meal at the Beachcomer cafe there on the beach in Crystal cove.
