"Shoppers at the Mission Inn Mall"

Yesterday our plein air organization, PAAR was invited to paint at the newly renovated mall area along side the Mission Inn. In this area are a number of nice little shops and eateries. I choose this scene in front of one of the shops as I liked the way the flags and cloths rack looked in the scene. There were not allot of people out and about in the afternoon, but as it got later, there were more shoppers. I am working on adding people to my paintings, mostly gesture type figures with no specific features, so this is one with people. This is a plein air pastel, 12x14, "Shoppers of the Mission Inn Mall".
