Flabob Airport and Evergreen Cemetery

On Friday Feb. 27th we painted at Flabob airport, a small local airport with a great little eatery. I had never painted airplanes, and that day, was a foggy ever changing light type of day, so I did experience some frustration, but enjoyed the experience. This old blue plane is one of a kind French racing plane. The last day of the paint out was at Evergreen Historic Cemetery, with views of mt Rubidoux and of course the Cemetery. I choose to focus in on three lovely palm trees and a few of the headstones.

In addition to the daily paint out locations, there was a Quick Draw on Sat. Feb. 28th, when we painted the Riverside Art Museum building which is celebrating it's 60th Anniversary. I will post the quick draw painting and the painting I put in the Exhibition at another date, as they are on display, and I did not have a chance to photograph these paintings.
