Last weekend I was at Gouldings Lodge, in the beautiful Monument Valley, UT. It was a magical time, despite the fact I was pestered by a bad cold. The scenery is so majestic, it is hard to decide what to photograph or paint first. Because of my cold, I did not do much painting, but did take photographs, for future paintings. I will attach a few of my photos for your enjoyment. If you ever visit the area, a all day tour into the back country is well worth the trip. It is truily the "Land of Long Shadows". Enjoy.
