Last weekend I participated in an event with SoCalpapa, "Paint the Parks" Orange Co. There was an art sale and at the Historic Irvine Ranch. Most of the artists had painted in the County Parks, and parts of the proceeds from the art sale benefited the parks, and art programs in Or. County. On Tuesday we decided to drive to Pasadena, and paint in the Arroyo Seco ravine, where there are beautiful views of the historic bridge there. Yesterday our plein air organization, PAAR was invited to paint at the newly renovated mall area along side the Mission Inn. In this area are a number of nice little shops and eateries. Last Wed. my friend and I went out to paint wild flowers near our homes here in Redlands, but low and behold, most have not happened yet, however this field near Terry's home was starting to bloom, and the vista of the mountains was beautiful. Tuesday morning, the weather started to change. It was predicted to be colder, with the following day, the coldest and possible snow.
