I was honored to be accepted into the National Orange Show All-California Juried Art Exhibit. But I was even more please, when during the awards ceremony at the Artists Reception, my name was called. I was awarded an Honorable Mention for my plein air pastel painting, "Citrus Park Vista". The National Orange Show Art Exhibit has been in existence since 1948. The Redlands Art Association has worked with the Orange show for the last 2 years in organizing this event. The reception was on Wednesday evening the 21. and the fair grounds and show will be open over Memorial Day Weekend. This painting was painted during the 9 day paint-out with the Plein Air Artists of Riverside.
